Here you will be located on the "quiet side" of the Gatlinburg area and Smoky Mountains National Park. In fact the National Park which celebrated it's 75th year in 2009 is less than two miles away. The "super sites" are the preferred spaces with concrete pads and patios. Sites #15 thru 30 are in the 75-80 foot range (end row sites #22, 23 & 30 are about 70 feet). You will have a 35 foot concrete pad at sites #64 thru 71 which are in the 65-70 foot range. For you shorter rigs try 60 footers #56 thru 63 which also have a concrete pad and patio. Wi-Fi. Propane. Exercise room. Secured entry. Open year around. Fenced 2500 square foot doggy park. For you motorcycle enthusiasts, the Tail of the Dragon ride is considered by many to be the number one motorcycle/sports car road in the U.S. as you meander eleven miles through 318 curves. Also located in the National Park is the Cades Cove Loop, a one way eleven mile scenic drive. Back in Townsend the popular Spring and Fall Festivals are worthy of your consideration. DIRECTIONS: Coming from the Alcoa/Maryville area, proceed on Hwy 321 to Townsend. In Townsend, take a left at the only traffic light. Go a few hundred yards and take an immediate left after crossing the bridge. The park will be down on your right. Note: Do not approach the park on Hwy 321 from Hwy 441/Pigeon Forge in your rig.
