Short Description
If visiting the Lava Beds National Monument is on your itinerary, then this small park can accommodate you. The sites are open and grassy and we suggest #12 thru 20. Wi-Fi. Open 4/1 thru 11/15.
DIRECTIONS: If headed south out of Tulelake on Hwy 139, go roughly 24 miles to CR 97 (it will be the third Lava Beds sign). If headed north on Hwy 139 from the Canby area, go approximately 28 miles to CR 97 (it will be after you pass the agricultural inspection station). In both cases, head west on CR 97 for 2-1/2 miles to CR 97A (Tionesta) and take a left. Proceed 1/2 mile and you will dead end into the park.
