HOLIDAY TRAVEL PARK

Not often do you have the chance to camp on a genuine Civil War battlefield as you do here, where in 1863 the North and South clashed in a skirmish preceding the famed battle of Chickamauga.  The area is rich with Civil War history and artifacts. Sites #134 thru 148 are pull-thrus in the 65-70 foot range. Be alert for tight maneuvering in some places and unhooking may be required.  Wi-Fi. Camping Cottages are available.  Enjoy the large pool and playground. On-site store for small grocery needs and air conditioned laundry. A modern indoor meeting room for use by groups or clubs with connected kitchen and an outdoor pavilion for use as well. A few local attractions nearby are: Rock City – 14.4 miles, Ruby Falls – 12.2 miles, Tennessee Aquarium – 11.3 miles, Chickamauga Battlefield – 4.4 miles, Lake Winnie – 2.2 miles
