RAFTER J BAR RANCH CAMPING RESORT (HILL CITY)

The park sits on over 150 acres in a semi-rural setting with separate camping areas. Back-in spaces #170-175 (75 footers) in the Lower Ranch camp section provide a respectable view out your windshield, and the forest is to your rear (no one on your curbside in #170). Over in the Island section consider 50 amp back-ins #233 - 75 feet, #234 - 100 feet, #237 - 70 feet and #238 at 60 feet. Down in the Base Camp section you’ll find a busier setting and 50 amp spaces. Try 75 footer #210, #212 thru 215 or sites in the 65 foot range - #198, 201, 202, 207, 209, 210 & 211. FF: #170 thru 175, 213, 214 & 215. Wi-Fi. Call for exact dates of season operation. DIRECTIONS: In Hill City, head south on Hwys 16/385 about three miles. Just beyond the left turn onto Hwy 244 take a right into the park - look for the brown log pole entrance. Note: If headed south on Hwy 16 from Rapid City consider taking the Hwy 16/385 truck route as you come into Hill City (the turn will be to the left).
