SWAN LAKE NFS

Although in a forested and natural setting, at some of the back-in sites the trees have been cut back for you. Streets are paved, as are the sites and they are in the 55-60 foot range. In the Ponderosa Loop, try sites #17, 18, 21, 22, 29, 31, 32 & 35. In the Birch Loop, sites #1, 7, 13, 14 & 15. Once camp is set up, use your feet, bike or tow and scoot over to the day use area on the west side of Hwy 83 for a glimpse of beautiful Swan Lake. No reservations, hookups, dump, or laundry. There are several water faucets but they are not threaded for a hose. We suggest that once in the park you unhook and scope out the sites. Open 5/15 to 9/30. DIRECTIONS: Located at approximately the 72 mile marker on the east side of Hwy 83 a half mile north of town.
