This is a very popular area and if you secure a firm reservation at this facility you won’t have the long line to contend with for a spot to open up at Whistler. Sites #5 thru 14 approach 70 feet, while 28 thru 33, 51, 52 & 53 are 65 footers. Spaces #39 & 40 are at 60 feet. Thirty amp sites #36, 37 & 38 are 60 footers while #18 is not quite 60 feet. Other site possibilities. FF: #5 thru 13. Paved entry road. Wi-Fi. Open 5/15 - 10/1.
DIRECTIONS: On the west side of town at the junction of TCH16 and Hwy 40 North, head west on TCH 16 one mile to the park on the left. If eastbound on TCH 16, after you go through the east gate of Jasper National Park proceed just over 11 miles to the park on the right.
Please do not rely on your GPS setting to direct you to this campground entrnace. They are located on Hwy #16.
NOTE: We used Hinton as our jumping off point to the Alaska Highway. Here you can fill up at the Husky (see Fuel Stop section), proceed on Hwy 40 and catch the Alaska Highway in Dawson Creek (we stayed at the park in Taylor north of Dawson Creek). There are a few rough areas (not problematic) on Hwy 40 between Hinton and Cache Creek. If you go on Sunday you will avoid most of the commercial truck traffic.

DIRECTIONS: Located west side of town. Westbound on Hwy 3, take the first exit after crossing the river - Bridge Drive exit - follow the signs to the park on the right. Eastbound on Hwy 3 after the 25S/West Lethbridge exit, take the next exit just before the river and get in the left lane. Make a U-turn just after the guardrail into the designated turn around. Then get in the left lane and follow the signs to the park.

Over the next ten years this facility is being phased out for residential/commercial development. Site D1 - 70 feet, D2 - 75 feet while D3 thru D8 are 80 footers. D61, D62, D64, D67, D72, D73, D81, D82 & D83 are 30 amp and in the 70 foot range. Backing up to the creek with grass behind you are C23 & C24 - 45 feet, along with 60 footers C26 thru C30, C33, C34 & C36. Thirty amp 45 foot back-ins - D34, D35, D46, D55 & D56. Wi-Fi in office area only. Paved streets, gravel sites. Open late May - 9/30

The best spots are #39 thru 44 (90 feet and longer) because of the wider entry street. Sites #19 thru 32 (not 24) are 90 footers but have a pole protecting the sprinkler head at the entrance - unhooking probable. At the west side of the park are 30 amp sites in the 65-70 foot range without site numbers. Note: The park was considering renumbering some of their sites. Wi-Fi. Secured entry.

If on Hwy 2 north of Calgary, head west on Hwy 567 (Airdrie) 22-1/2 miles to the park entrance on the right (just before you dead end into Hwy 22).
