Tucked away on ten wooded acres adjacent to Oak Creek, this park is a great base for a day trip to the Grand Canyon (take a picnic lunch) in addition to the red rock scenery and sightseeing which makes Sedona a unique destination. If you are traveling on I-8 or using the Hwy 85 Phoenix Bypass between I-8 and I-10 expect to discover lengthy spaces here with good swing room. Site 330 with over 130 ft pull through corner site. Primarily a park model facility, however there are 100 footers in the Morning Glory section. These are gravel sites in opposing direction and a neighbor may be at the very rear of your rig on your driver’s side (not problematic). Perhaps the preferred sites are #1125 thru 1137. Other options are #1110 thru 1119 & 1122. Also, in parking lot fashion are 30 amp electric and water paved sites #2 thru 16. FF: All sites listed, unhooking probable. Fairly wide paved streets. Head west on Bell Road five miles (get in the left lane after crossing the Friendship Bridge) to the light at El Mirage. Take a left on El Mirage and the park will be down on your left 1/3 mile. I f on I-10, Exit #133B, head north on Hwy 101 for 9-1/3 miles to exit #11 Hwy 60/Grand Avenue. Head west on Hwy 60 for 3-1/2 miles and turn right at the light onto Thompson Ranch Road. Proceed two miles to the park on the right.
