Here you will be adjacent to the Cook Inlet in a dry camping scenario with no services. There are several 40 foot pull-ins facing the water and two 40 footers parallel to the water. There are also additional sites away from the water. None of the above sites are well defined. Open 5/1 - 9/30. DIRECTIONS: Heading south on Hwy 1 you will cross the small Deep Creek Bridge. Go ½ mile (passing the 137MM) and take an immediate right at the brown Deep Creek State Recreation sign. Go down ¼ mile, turn right and proceed straight ahead to the self registration kiosk.

You will experience a conveniently located facility with a close neighbor and some tight maneuvering. In the 60 foot range are #18 thru 22 while #23 is at 50 feet. Water and electric spaces #12 thru 15 are in the 45 - 50 foot range while #10 & 11 are 45 foot 30 amp electric and water. With some slope in front are back-ins #80 - 55 feet and #81 - 50 feet. Spaces #46 and 47 are 45 foot water and electric back-ins while #48 thru 52 are 30 amp electric and water back-ins. FF: #13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 47 & 80. Wi-Fi. Open 5/20 - 9/20. This is a dry camping venue with great views out your windshield. You will be in a paved parking lot with sites 12 feet wide and 130 feet long - #21 thru 30. Spaces #21 and 30 are end row sites with no one next to you on one side. Because of the length of these sites we do not believe slides are a problem. There is also a 15 foot wide by 150 foot long parallel parking area along with a 65 foot volunteer park host back-in which was unoccupied at the time of our July visit. FF: All sites listed. No Wi-Fi or other services. Self register. Open mid-May - mid-September. DIRECTIONS: Located about midway between Trapper Creek and Cantwell. Going north on Hwy 3 about 2/3 of a mile north of the 162MM, turn left into the park.

Here you will dry camp in a back-in spot which is paved. Paved streets and good dump. Although you will have to pay for two sites, consider the double sites - #22/23 and 34/35 - 50 feet, 30/31 and 43/44 - 55 feet, 55/56 - 60 feet or 26/27 which is 85 feet and the river will be on your patio side if you pull-in. For a 50 footer select #32, 33, 36, 39, 42, 45 & 47 while #46, 51 & 52 are at 55 feet. For a 60 footer - #49 & 54 while in 65 footer #24 you will have the river on your curbside. FF: #24, 25, 26/27, 29, 34/35, 43/44, 47, 50, 51, 52 & 55/56. No Wi-Fi or other services. Four night limit. Only a total of eight sites may be reserved. Avoid weekends. There is a large open gravel overflow area if you can’t get into a site. Open last weekend in April - late September. DIRECTIONS: Southbound on Hwy 1 near the 12MM, take the Eagle River Loop/Hiland Road exit. Turn left onto the overpass then left on the frontage road. Go down 1-1/4 miles and dead end into the park. Northbound on Hwy 1 near the 12MM, take the Eagle River Loop/Hiland Road exit and stay in the left lane. Go straight across to the frontage road and go down 1-1/4 miles to the park. Self register.
