Short Description
Situated at an altitude of 6,000 feet, this park is a desert mountain setting with a feeling of secure remoteness. Most of the streets are paved as are the sites which have a covered cabana with picnic table, water and 30 amp service. Sites #7, 13, 14 & 16 are 70 foot back-ins and the hookups are on the opposite side, however by pulling in, you should have a view of the lake. Section D which is generally open from April through October (call the park) has three pull-thru sites well over 100 feet long - #52, 53 & 54. Two 60 foot back-ins (#48 & 49) have a sewer connection.
Additional phone numbers 877-697-2757.
FF: #52, 53 & 54. Fair dump station, no laundry. No reservations.
Note : Hwys 180 & 191 north of St. Johns had a few stretches of road where we had to slow down a bit, but this would not prevent us from returning.
DIRECTIONS: Head south out of St. Johns on Hwy 180/191 about 11-1/2 miles to the park on your left.
