We had looked Triple G Hideaway Rv Park during our Alaska trip and preferred our dry camping spot noted below. Still do. Since then we have had a reader with a 44 foot coach and tow suggest we include this facility. They stayed in a 30 amp 80 footer. Open 5/1 - 10/31.

Note:We are also recommending this dry camping experience because of the lack of an adequate park in Fort Nelson.  On the south side of town after crossing the Muskwa River Bridge, head north on Hwy 97 for approximately three miles and you will see to the left motels and businesses on the frontage road.  Go to the light, turn left and then make a quick left onto the frontage road.  Motor down, pick a spot to the right making sure you leave clearance for the driveways of the business establishments.  We parked in this area with three other Big Rigs without incident.  FF: You’ll be fine here.
DIRECTIONS: Heading north at the edge of town, turn left.

Short Description
A quiet, rural and well maintained setting. All back-in sites. At sites #9 thru 16 (50 feet) you will have the ocean and beach out your windshield. As a full 40 footer it will be tough to get into because of the short light fixtures at the front of the sites. If you’re under 40 feet it becomes easier. In the following spaces you won’t be far away from the beach - #21 & 22 - 40 feet with room for your tow footsteps away, #27 & 28 - 65 footers and #29 - 45 feet with landscaping and Hwy 1 (not frequently traveled) on your curbside. Wi-Fi in clubhouse area only. Additional phone number 866-478-6888.
FF: #27 & 28.
DIRECTIONS: From the ferry landing turn left, go down to Lochside Drive and turn left. Go down about 1-1/2 miles (follow the Victoria signs) and turn right to the light at Hwy 17. Take a left, motor down 11-1/3 miles to Exit #7 and head west on McKenzie Road 1-1/2 miles to TCH-1. Turn right and go 3-1/2 miles to Exit #14 - when exiting stay in the left lane - loop around and turn right onto Hwy 14 (Veterans Memorial Hwy). Go two miles - Hwy 14 turns right but continue straight ahead 1-2/3 miles to Latoria Road. Turn left, go one mile and turn right onto Metchosin Road. Go 5-1/4 miles (Metchosin turns into William Head Road during the process), down the hill and around the curve to the park on the left.
