No triple axle trailers, pop ups, and no canvass Rvs DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 98 we suggest making use of the traffic light at Scenic Gulf Dr. and turn south. Travel .6 miles to Miramar Beach Drive and turn right. After going .1 miles the entrance will be on your left.
Alternatively, you could turn directly onto Miramar Beach Drive from Hwy 98, but there is no light and it can be a difficult, but not an impossible turn.

This park opened in 2012, sits adjacent to the Choctawhatchee Bay and welcomes Class A and C motorhomes in addition to fifth wheels. Expect to find paved streets, sites and a 10 x 20 foot paved patio. On the west side of the park are 70 foot pull-ins #41 thru 54 and #39 which approaches 65 feet and has an unobstructed view of the bay on your patio side. Back-ins #25 thru 38 are 70 footers. On the east side of the park are 65 foot pull-ins #2 thru 10 and 70 foot back-ins #12 thru 24. FF: Spaces on the west side may be preferable. Wi-Fi. Cable TV. Seasonally heated pool with a nice view of the Bay. One unique aspect of this park is their sister destination directly across Hwy 98...the Ramada Plaza Beach Resort. Not only can non-RVing friends and family stay here but you can enjoy the amenities also. Direct access to the Gulf of Mexico beach with chair/umbrella rentals, swimming pools, hot tub, kids splash garden, restaurants and bars. A fitness center overlooking the Grotto Pool along with a meeting/event center are also available. Groups and rallies welcome. Note: We had lunch in the Garden Cafe at the hotel and were not disappointed. They serve up three meals a day. 800-947-0701 DIRECTIONS: Eastbound on Hwy 98, after crossing the John Brooks Bridge go 3/4 of a mile and turn left into the park. Westbound on Hwy 98, after crossing the Destin Bridge go four miles to the park on the right (just after passing the Destin West Hotel).

There are many sites that can be made to work for you, but our recommendations are loops 600, 900, 1100, 1200 and 1300. Specifically sites #903, 920, 921, 922, 1101, 1103, 1122 and 1124 that are 60 feet. Sites #602, 615, 620, 625, 627, 629, 637 & 919 which are at least 65 feet and FF. If special access to the Disney World Parks via Buses or boats (not to mention perhpas extra hours in the parks) is not enough to lure you here, there are many other amenities unique to Fort Wildernness: multiple playgrounds, dog parks, tennis courts, Daniel Boone's Wilderness Arcade, an available archery experience, a Segway tour, multiple Disney themed restaurants on-site, a horse barn with pony rides, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review, horse drawn excursions, swimming pools, Settlement Trading Post gift shop, Chip "N" Dale Sing Along, campfire area and many daily activites that can be discovered by checking the www.disney.com website.
