Dog Park

A peaceful place to stop, we suggest sites #1-7 that are in the 80 foot range, #11,12,14 that are approximately 65 feet, #39, 41 & 42 are 70 feet.  Some paved roads and some paved sites, but mostly gravel roads and sites. Cute store on site, hiking trails, pool, glamping cabins and a roomy dog park await you. DIRECTIONS: Off of I-10 take Exit #166 and go south 1 mile to the campground on the left.

Big Rig friendly pull thru sites with water views are JJ at 106'. II at 68'. KK at 84', LL at 77', MM at 70', NN- 72', OO - 74' ,PP at 73',QQ at 76: and RR at 86'. There will never be a dull moment for you here! Only 1.5 miles away from Downtown Houghton and in the heart of the Keweenaw, there are so many opportunities for you to explore.Go for a relaxing walk & observe nature on boardwalk (coming 2026).Make new pup & human friends at the dog run. Swing, slide, & skip at the playground. Use the boat ramp to launch a fun day on the water! Fish or jump off our expansive (four-winged!) dock. Rent a kayak for the day from the welcome center.

Directions:From US-41 N turn slight south (may feel like going straighT) onto M-26 S / Sheldon Avenue and proceed for 0.5 miles. Continue following M-26 S (becomes Memorial Drive) for an additional 1.2 miles. Turn right onto Houghton Canal Road and drive north for 1.5 miles. The entrance to Keweenaw Waters Resort will be on your right
